For buy and hold loans, there are pre payment penalties. Loans can be paid off within the last 5 years. The penalties are percentages that are in correspondence with how many years you have left.
For example, if you have 5 years left, penalty would be 5% of remaining balance.
If 4 years left, penalty would be 4% of remaining balance, and so fourth
Yes, we work with foreign nationals. We typically would just need to see passport or visa, and seasoned United States bank account (3+ months statements)
Up front, buyer must pay $50 for credit check, $150 for avm, $75 for background check, appraisal that ranges in cost depending on each individual property, and the down payment of course. All other fees can be rolled into loan
